A young couple sited a puma type animal at Littley Green
Braintree residents have witnessed a jet-black triangular craft over the town. Each point had a white light and there was a red light behind the leading point. The craft was seen at 10.50pm 10/02/96. The next day at 6.30pm, a circle of seven white lights was seen over Braintree and the next town of Witham.
Nearly 90 people in the Braintree and Witham areas have reported sightings of the above two craft in the last month. The latest being 6/3/96 when 21 rang the Essex UFO hotline
The mysterious beast of Essex has been spotted in Braintree. The cat which looks like a puma or panther leapt in front of a car on the B1018.The giant cat had a 3ft long tail and black fur but did not seem ferocious.Large pawprints were found in Finchingfield two weeks ago.
A number of wild boar have been seen in the area, at least two have been involved in traffic accidents.
